🌍 New Seven Wonders of the World (Modern List – 2007)

These were chosen in a global poll organized by the New7Wonders Foundation:

1. Great Wall of China (China) – A massive fortification built to protect against invasions.

2. Petra (Jordan) – An ancient city carved into red sandstone cliffs.

3. Christ the Redeemer (Brazil) – A giant statue of Jesus overlooking Rio de Janeiro.

4. Machu Picchu (Peru) – A breathtaking Incan city in the Andes Mountains.

5. Chichen Itza (Mexico) – A Mayan pyramid complex with the famous El Castillo.

6. Roman Colosseum (Italy) – A grand amphitheater from ancient Rome.

7. Taj Mahal (India) – A stunning white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan.
